Some more cards

I'd lost this blog ... well, not lost it exactly, but had no idea where to find it!  Anyway, I obviously found it again and here I am with a few cards I've been making recently.

This is a card I made yesterday for a friend whose father has been ill.  I thought it was cute, and I love cute.

And, talking of cute, this is of a friend's grandson, Carter, and I just had to get my Craft Artist out and make a scrapbook page when I saw this photo.  Isn't he sweet?

I used my Silhouette and a pen for the wording on this card.  I thought it turned out really well.

And these two I made 'just because' the images were so cute.  The raccoon went to my mother in law, and the squirrel to my wonderful mother.

Today I made my first EVER ATC (artist trading card).  I'll post an image soon.  Hopefully I will be able to find my way back here again <sigh>

Christmas cards are go

It's that time of the year again and I'm currently buried under a pile of red and green paper and silver glitter. Yaaay, Christmas. Will post a few cards once they are completed.

Is it too early to wish you all a Happy Christmas? Yes? Hmmm, thought it was.

Space

The Moon

The moon is way up in the sky
Just hanging there in space
And when you see it from the Earth
You think it has a face.

It hasn't really got a face
As spacemen have found out.
It's mountains, valleys and the like
That make it's eyes and snout.

I'd like to travel out in space
And go to different places
And see if all the other stars
Have got such funny faces.

An autumn card

I created this card this morning for a challenge at cookupacard http://cookupacard.blogspot.com/ using their recipe.

Had to use 3 autumn colours
2 ribbons
1 verse or poem

The card is much nicer in real life, and I was pleased with it. The verse reads "Every leaf speaks bliss to me, fluttering from the autumn tree", Emily Bronte

I used my Labels 1 nestabilities dies - which I adore.

There - done - my first ever blog and my first ever challenge entry.
